Funny In Theory
Fun Is Good. That has been the St. Paul Saints Baseball Club's motto for 32 seasons. They are a minor league baseball team that has become known for their wacky, crazy, and sometimes outlandish promotions. From a nun giving massages during a game to ballpark-wide food and pillow fights, they are always trying to come up with that next big idea. Funny In Theory goes behind the scenes of the St. Paul Saints Entertainment Team with Entertainment Director, Joshua Will, and Vice President, Brand Marketing & Experience, Sierra Bailey. Together they will share stories about the entertainment side of the St. Paul Saints; they will talk about how different promotions came to be, strategies they use for coming up with ideas, behind the scenes details of games that fans haven't heard before, and, more often than not, they will get sidetracked and go off on a hilarious tangent. Because, like an on-field promo, no matter how much you plan for it to go one way, you never know which direction it may go. So join us every week for a good laugh and some insights into the world of the St. Paul Saints.

In Episode 49, Josh and Sierra wrap up the last homestand and discuss how being called a circus is a compliment. They look towards the MN State Fair and how it affects the staff as well as the ballpark. They talk about the attempts at promotions (wins and fails) for the homestand and some of promo nights that did to didn't work out. Sierra talks about her dentist, Josh talks about his physical, and they both discuss the missing potatoes story. They end the episode with Ice Ice Baby, sung by the ushertainers and Brian Kelly.
